How to Serve Your Community During COVID-19

It is evident to see that, now more than ever, the local church is truly the hope of the world. While the current conditions are causing people to stay indoors, God is calling churches to go outside of their four walls.

We believe that this is an incredible opportunity for the Church to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our communities in unique and creative ways. It’s time for us to find service outlets that are both safe and effective for our churches and teams serving, as well as for the people being served.

If your church is looking for some great ideas on how to serve your community during this time best, we encourage you to do the following:

1. Download and Read COVID-19 and How to Serve Your City from the Serve Day Team.

This PDF is filled with different strategies that churches across the U.S. are using to serve their communities. We encourage you to look through this resource and put some of these ideas into action!

2. Keep up with the Serve Day Website for More Information.

Different initiatives will be posted periodically, so be sure to keep up-to-date with the Serve Day team.

3. Use these Resources and Partner with Other Churches in Your Community.

We truly are better together! We encourage you to share this resource with other pastors and invite other churches in your area to be a part of serving those in your community. The Church was made for such a time as this, and our goal during this time is to love God and love people by serving the best way we can. We hope these resources assist you as you go out and serve your city.
